The summer 2017 anime series Cleanliness Boy! Aoyama-kun is having its home video release plans handled by Pony Canyon and they’ve set a standard release for it. The twelve episode series is getting a six-volume release beginning on September 20th, 2017. The DVDs are priced at 5,600 yen and the Blu-ray’s at 6,800 yen.
The series was directed by Kazuya Ichikawa based on the series composition by Midori Gotou. Studio Hibari handled the adaptation’s anime production.
The Japanese cast includes Ryotaro Okiayu as Aoyama-kun, Tomokazu Seki as Kaoru Zaizen, Anzu Haruno as Moka Gotō, Sōichiro Hoshi as Kazuma Sakai, Daisuke Sakaguchi as Jin Tsukamoto, Hiroyuki Yoshino as Taichi Yoshioka, Noriaki Sugiyama as Gaku Ishikawa, and Daisuke Kishio as Hikaru Tada,
The comedy manga comes from Taku Sakamoto that began in 2014 in Miracle Jump and then leapt to Young Jump in early 2015.
The opening theme song is “White” from Bentham.
Plot Concept: The story revolves around Aoyama, a fastidious soccer genius who prioritizes cleanliness over everything, in which during his plays he neither heads nor slides and only throws with his gloves on!
