With Marvel now having finished doing the promotion for the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel and Spider-Man: Homecoming, the studio is getting ready to dig in on its final film of the year with the November 3rd, 2017 release of Thor: Ragnarok.We got a trailer back in April that absolutely delighted a lot of people with its use of color, style, the music, and the humor that capitalizes well on what Chris Hemsworth can do, especially with this character. Now, Marvel has rolled out the second trailer at SDCC and are looking to up their game.
The film is directed by Taika Waititi and will star Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo, Cate Blanchett, Jaimie Alexander, Tessa Thompson, Idris Elba, Anthony Hopkins, Jeff Goldblum and Karl Urban.
Plot concept: In Marvel Studios’ ‘Thor: Ragnarok’, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization—at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger—the Incredible Hulk!
