Yen Press Announces Twelve Print Manga Acquisitions, Seven Digital, & Five Light Novels

Yen PressYen Press made some pretty great new announcements at Anime Expo this weekend with a slew of titles in the works. On the manga side they announced twelve properties that they’re going to be working with that will have more details in the coming weeks with:

  1. Baccano! by Shinta Fujimoto
  2. Hatsu*Haru by Shizuki Fujisawa
  3. Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Days of goddess by Masaya Takamura
  4. Kemono Friends: Welcome to Japari Park by Furai
  5. Mermaid Boys by Yomi Sarachi
  6. Oh, My Sweet Alien by Kōji Miyata
  7. Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts by Yu Tomofuji
  8. Silver Spoon by Hiromu Arakawa
  9. Stupid Love Comedy by Shushushu Sakurai
  10. Tales of Wedding Rings by Maybe
  11. The Demon Who Became My Sister by Pochi Iida
  12. Zo-Zo-Zombie-kun by Yasunari Nagatoshi

The publisher is also continuing to bring out more titles in digital form with the potential for print releases if there is enough interest in them.

  2. Kuzumi-kun Can’t You Read the Room by Mosuko
  3. MAOYU
  4. Now Playing by Hifumi
  5. Thou Shalt Not Die by Tarō Yokō and Daisuke Moriyama

  7. Tokyo Ravens by Atsushi Suzumi

The light novel side of the business also got a nice nod with some very interesting titles slated to come with:

  1. A Sister’s All You Need by Yomi Hirasaka and illustrator Kantoku
  2. Goblin Slayer Year One
  3. I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years by Kisetsu Morita and illustrator Dontsugel
  4. Reborn as a Vending Machine, Now I Wander the Dungeon by Hirukuma and illustrator Itsuwa Katō
  5. The Hero and His Elf Bride Open a Pizza Parlor by Kaya Kizaki and illustrator Shiso
