What They Say:
Framed for a crime, held prisoner by a team of her greatest enemies, and quickly running out of time, Faith must confront the truth of her first true defeat! But has victory truly come to The Faithless – a revenge-obsessed squad of malicious malcontents – or will Los Angeles’ soaring protector give them a run for their money first?

From the Hollywood Hills to the Santa Monica Pier, L.A. is about to witness the ultimate beat-down between good and evil…and when the final page arrives, you’ll be saying, “What the frack?!”

Content: (please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers):
The Faithless celebrate their victory of capturing Faith, but The Faithless are challenging their leader on what to do next. They have Faith, but what’s next? The group is at odds with each other leaving Faith wondering what she can do to get out of this jam.

Faith’s first guard is Sidney. They bicker like usual, but nothing really happens. Dark Star’s turn is next. Funny enough, Dark Star is a bit drunk from their celebration. He’s not able to do a thing to her, so Chris Chriswell appears to remove the drunkard and puts Murder Mouse on guard duty. Murder Mouse states he’s not interested in killing her. Faith curiously asks what his real name is, because she had forgotten it, and ends up talking to her more like a friend than an enemy.

Just as Murder Mouse, or Jeff, was about to consider letting Faith go, Chris returns to the room. Jeff, now wanting the respect from teammates, like he got from Faith, stirs up the whole group. Faith points out how Chris is the only one that does not have superpowers, yet he’s the leader of the group. He presents his elite body doubles as Fame and Fortune. During the chaos, Faith is able to get out of her restraints and encourages Jeff leave, but after an explosion of unknown origin, Faith is left alone.
Faith returns to her ordinary life and to work. Her coworkers were worried and now relieved she is back and not arrested. Faith, now determined as ever, sets her goal to capture all of the Faithless and have justice.

In Summary:
I definitely liked the drunk cat part. I guess having a black cat of my own made it personally humorous. I enjoyed this issue more than the last few. There was a bit of a downturn with Faith struggling personally and the lack of movement in the story. This issue brought the action back along with Faith’s determination. It’s good to see her not doubting herself and ready to kick some bad guy ass!
