Content: (please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers)
With the guys getting closer to their time to shine and realizing that there’s a whole lot of competition out there, the tension is certainly rising. So when we get them just walking out there and then suddenly leaping into action it seems like it’s going to hit all the right notes. Of course, things turn badly with one of them falling ill, causing them to be unable to go on. The guys don’t want to give up even as they’re told that’s their best option and it turns violent quickly, though from an unexpected direction with Yeast King getting in the mix. They’re understanding of what must be done to find their missing member while Yeast King doesn’t view the competition as anything important in the grand scheme of things since they can do their thing anywhere.
In Summary:
This series makes no sense. No, it does in its own simple way, but it’s just so poorly executed in a clunky way that it’s frustrating with its badness. The weird moments have potential, such as the dog driving the head vehicle thing we have briefly, but beyond that it’s just an absolute chore to get through. It’s bad storytelling that has a very fun concept that it could exploit combined with weak animation.
