Everything has moved quickly, all things considered, when it comes to this brand new animated adaptation of the Castlevania property. The show is set for a July 7th, 2017 debut and Netflix has now dropped a very fun and delicious teaser for it that pays respect tot he past before showing off what it is now.
The show is listed as being a four-part series with thirty-minute episodes. The second season will hit in 2018.
The animated series is from Frederator Studios, a Wow! Unlimited Media company, written by best-selling author and comic book icon Warren Ellis and executive produced by Warren Ellis, Kevin Kolde, Fred Seibert and Adi Shankar.
Plot concept: Inspired by the classic video game series, Castlevania is a dark medieval fantasy following the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan, trying to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad Dracula Tepe himself.
