Funimation has set their release plans for the month of August 2017 and they’ve got a pretty good if light selection of titles lined up for the month. What will do better than most of the anime releases is the announcement of the Shin Godzilla film coming out as there’s a lot of interest in that. This month has more Endride and One Piece while also bringing out a sub-only but very welcome release of Rainbow Days. The collection side has more Tokyo Ravens and Fairy Tail coming out. But what’s really going to get people excited is the release of the Fruits Basket “sweet sixteen” Blu-ray edition, a first time on the format release that is getting a regular and limited edition.
