The latest sales rankings have come in from Japan with the week ending May 7th, 2017 and it’s a very thin week for releases with seven of the top ten all under 1,000 units, and that’s being generous. The big winner is the latest Yuri on Ice that adds another 6,000 copies to its total to bring it to just about 39,000 on Blu-ray. Granblue Fantasy adds another 1,600 while Konosuba adds about 1,300. Everything else is far lower and just part of ongoing releases that are expected to be largely week.The DVD side isn’t much better as it’s mostly the same with sub-1,000 unit pieces and even then it’s a stretch.
