What They Say:
One by one, Faith has outsmarted and defeated every member of her brand-new rogues gallery. But when all four of Los Angeles’ most sinister minds attack their sworn enemy at once, their combined power may prove to be too powerful to handle! But will evil finally triumph over the high-flying psiot…or collapse under its own collective weight? The most pivotal moment in Faith’s solo career starts here with a rumble that won’t just seal the fate of Los Angeles, but the entire nation!

Content: (please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers):
An alien group called Vine escaped from jail, and Faith has finally tracked them down. She gets them all, but Sidney Pierce and another male. Though she’s been busy, it’s hard for Faith to take a rest, even though she’s been given permission to do so. She tries to sleep, but crazy dreams interrupt her sleep.

Sidney Pierce imitates Faith and tricks the Vine male to meet her later on. This is all part of Chriswell’s plan to wear down Faith, ruin her public image and then have the Fearless strike when she is at her lowest. Sidney goes out as Faith again with comrades in tow, and meets the male Vine in a public place. She eradicates the Vine publically who think Faith is murdering an innocent person. Mass hysteria escalates with the help of the Fearless.

Faith returns to work and there is a swarm of cops asking a lot of questions. Before she can say or do anything, co-worker Paige, pulls her aside and shows her video of Sidney’s stunt disguised as Faith. Her co-workers cover for her and she slips out of the office. She goes back home trying to think of a way out of this mess, but Sidney, Dark Star and Murder Mouse are waiting for her.

In Summary:
I’m still digging this comic, but the things I originally identified as a female nerd have waned. I still like Faith as an atypical hero. That probably won’t change. What is changing is the content of the story. I do like that the story is taking form into something bigger than one or two short stories. What I would like to see more of is what grabbed me in the first place. Different writing, different stories and anything that is simply not what every other comic has. I feel Faith has the potential to break the standard comic mold. I think if continues to walk the unbeaten path the comic has a bright future. But, if it’s going to mimic every other superhero comic out there then it will definitely lose my interest.
