Here’s another show to binge on for the weekend with Crunchyroll now streaming the full previously simulcast season for Blood Blockade Battlefront that Funimation handled and released on DVD and Blu-ray. The series is available here and is open to members in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Iceland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark in its original Japanese language with English subtitles.
The show comes from the manga of the same name by Yasuhiro Nightow, who made a name for himself early in the previous decade with his Trigun work. The manga began in 2009 and is being released in North America through Dark Horse Comics. The anime adaptation was produced by Bones with Rie Matsumoto directing based on scripts by Kazunao Furuya and character designs by Toshihiro Kawamoto.
