kenka-banchou-visualWith just a couple of weeks to go until the debut of the Kenka Banchou Otome: Girl Beats Boy anime adaptation on April 12th, 2017, the official channel is working through more promotion for it. The latest comes in the form of a character promo for that of the anime original character with Toshiya Murata. It’s a lengthier piece at just a minute and a half but it delivers the fun of the opening theme song and a good look at the animation itself.

The property will be adapting from the game as it uses the same characters and adds new ones with a planned ten-minute running time per episode. The series is being directed by Tokuaki Saitou based on the series composition by Natsuko Takahashi. Majiro is on board as the character designer with Project No. 9 and A-Real handling the animation.

The Japanese cast includes:

  • Hibiku Yamamura as Hinako Nakayama
  • KENN as Totomaru Minowa
  • Shouta Aoi as Takayuki Konparu
  • Yoshimasa Hosoya as Rintarou Kira
  • Tetsuya Kakihara as Yuuta Mirako
  • Tomoaki Maeno as Houou Onigashima
  • Tsubasa Yonaga as Hikaru Onigashima
  • Takashi Kondou as Haruo Sakaguchi

Love Desire will be handling both the opening and closing themes with “Love Sniper” and “Gankou Signal.”

Game concept: The original game is about an orphan named Hinako Nakayama who was picked up by a twin brother. She has to attend all-boys school full of yankees named Private Shishiku Gakuen for him. In this adaptation, the heroine can join the quarrel battle, which is different from most of the otome games.
