We learned back in December that the Taiwanese comic Jikan no Shihaisha, aka Chronos Ruler, from Jea Pon had gotten the nod for an anime adaptation as it’s been well received in the Shounen Jump+ app since it began there in 2015. The anime adaptation is set for a TV series to debut sometime as part of the summer 2017 and the first promotional video has dropped for it. The series is directed by Masato Matsune based on the series composition by Michiko Yokote with Project No.9 producing the animation.
The Japanese cast includes Kaito Ishikawa as Kiri Victorvich Putin, Kenji Akabane as Blaze, Jun Fukuyama as Victor “Vict” Alexandervich Putin, Rie Kugimiya as Mina Putin, Shizuka Itou as Ice Raider and Tomokazu Sugita as Snake.
Plot concept: The story centers on “Chronos Rulers,” those who fight the time-eating demons that appear when people wish they could turn back time. The Chronos Rulers fight a time-manipulation battle against these demons.
