One Piece Heart of Gold Header 2-23With the Japanese release of the One Piece: Heart of Gold special out on home video this past October, Funimation is getting a quick release for it here as it’s set to land on May 2nd, 2017 alongside the One Piece Film: Gold property. The special is priced at $34.98 for the DVD/BD combo release that clocks in at 104 minutes and now the first dubbed trailer for it has arrived. There are no extras included with the release but it is getting an UltraViolet digital release included.

The special is directed by Tatsuya Nagamine based on the screenplay by Tsutomu Kuroiwa.

Plot concept: With the fight at Dress Rosa behind them, the Straw Hats are enjoying a leisurely day at sea—that is, until the mysterious Olga boards their ship demanding a hot meal. She may seem cute on the outside, but this sharp-tongued firecracker of a girl just happens to hold the secret to an ancient lost city and a treasure rumored to be the most valuable metal in the world.
