Sentai Filmworks has an April 11th, 2017 release planned for the second season of Is The Order A Rabbit?? and has now brought out the finalized artwork for the project. The series is getting separate DVD and Blu-ray releases priced at $49.98 and $59.98 respectively where they’ll be monolingual releases that have the clean opening and closings as the extras. The adaptation of the original four-panel manga series by Koi for the first season was produced by White Fox for the spring 2014 season as it dealt with the two volumes of material released at the time as the manga began in 2011. The cast and staff for the second season are the same as the first season with Hiroyuki Hashimoto directing based on scripts and composition by Kazuki Fudeyasu and character designs by Yousuke Okuda, which were produced at White Fox.
The cast includes Ayane Sakura as Cocoa Hoto, Inori Minase as Chino Kafū, Risa Taneda as Rize Tedeza, Satomi Satou as Chiya Ujimatsu, Maaya Uchida as Sharo Kirima, Sora Tokui as Maya Jōga, Rie Murakawa as Megumi “Meg” Natsu, Saori Hayami as Blue Mountain Aoyama, Motomu Kiyokawa as Tippy and Sho Hayami as Takahiro.
Plot concept: It’s time to re-open the doors to Rabbit House, where good friends are ready to take on the next exciting adventure, and there’s always something unusual going on. After all, how many cafés have waitresses who collect firearms and a rabbit that actually talks? However, trouble may be burrowing into the Kafu residence when a magazine runs an article on places to eat and neglects to mention Rabbit House! Will an investigation into what’s been “haunting” Syaro’s house be a wild goose chase, or will someone get a lot of grey hare as a result? Is the sudden appearance of Cocoa’s big sister a blessing or a disaster waiting happen? Still, nothing is as scary as the prospect of graduating school! Will everyone make the grade, or will some friends be left behind? The tail will be told as Chino, Cocoa, Rize, and the gang all return in IS THE ORDER A RABBIT? SEASON 2!
