Kaze Deutschland brought out the Episode of Nami special from the One Piece franchise back in June of 2016 and they’re just now bringing out the German dubbed trailer for it. The 30 euro Blu-ray release is one that came with the original Japanese language track and new German language dub in DTS-HD MA form along with German subtitles. The special aired back in August 2012 as a way to dig into the character of Nami a bit and serve as a jumping on and easy access point for potential new fans and a fun bit of flashback for longtime fans that have been watching since the first episode.
Plot concept: After Nami steals the Going Merry, Roronoa Zoro, Usopp, and later Monkey D. Luffy and Sanji (along with Johnny and Yosaku) set after her and wind up in Cocoyasi Village, Nami’s hometown ruled by the tyrannical fishman Arlong. It is here that Nami’s past and true motives come to light.
