Media Factory Sets ‘Seiken Tsukai no World Break’ Blu-ray Anime Box Set

2 min read

World BreakAfter bringing out the series in singles form back in March of 2015, Media Factory is looking to capture some additional sales for the Seiken Tsukai no World Break anime series. The distributor has planned a new box set for the complete show that’s now scheduled for March 24th, 2017. It’s priced at 18,000 yen, which is a steal compared to the six singles priced at 7,000 yen each. The set looks to include the main extras as before as it’s simply repackaging the six singles in a new box which means we get the promotional videos, commercials, and the clean opening and ending sequences.

The series was directed by Takayuki Inagaki with scripts by Hiroshi Yamaguchi and character designs adapted by Masakazu Ishikawa. The series was animated at Diomedea.

Additional casting for the series includes Reina Ueda as Elena Arshavina, Machico as Sophia Mertesacker, Chiaki Omigawa as Angela Johnson, Nichika Omori as Yuri Oregvich Zhirkov, Ayane Sakura as Katia Eskevna Honda, Yuko Minaguchi as Mari Shimon, Wataru Hatano as Sir Edward Runbird, Yūichi Nakamura as Jin Isurugi, Yu Kobayashi as Tokiko Kanzaki, Toru Ohkawa as Tarō Tanaka, Ryou Sugizaki as Gen Isurugi, Akira Ishida as Andō Suruga, Takehito Koyasu as Charles Saint-Germain, Rie Kugimiya as Arlene Highbury, Hikaru Midorikawa as Lū Jishin, Fumi Morisawa as Vasilisa Yuryevna Mostovaya, Yui Ogura as Maya Shimon and Maaya Uchida as Haruka Momochi.

Plot concept: Moroha Haimura isn’t your typical teenager. In fact, he’s quite unique compared to his fellow classmates at the high-profile Akane Academy. Along with other gifted students, he trains as a “Savior” where he will learn to harness his special inherited mystical powers from a former life. However, unlike his peers, Moroha not only has one past life, but two! This means he can command both the Dark Arts of spell magic and the Light Arts of the body itself. Because of his rare talents, he quickly climbs the ranks to join the “Strikers,” an elite group of Saviors at the academy. With the other Strikers at his side, Moroha must protect the fate of the world against giant, evil beasts—all while juggling the hearts of the jiggly girls constantly vying for his affection. With each battle, Moroha learns more and more about his two heroic past lives and the powers hidden within.
