With a new Precure series set for a winter debut with Kirakira ☆ Precure a la Mode, we got the cast information last week for the main characters. Now, as we close in on the February 5th, 2017 premiere, marking the 14th iteration of the property since it kicked off quite a few years ago now, a new thirty-second promo has arrived that gives us a taste of their performances.
The show will be directed by Kohei Kureta and Yukio Kaizawa based on the series composition from Jin Tanaka. Marie Ino is on board as the character designer for it. A manga series will run alongside it beginning in February as well from Futago Kamikita.
The cast has been confirmed with:
- Karen Miyama as Cure Whip/Ichika Usam, who has a rabbit motif and enjoys shortcake
- Haruka Fukuhara as Cure Custard/Himari Arisugawa, who has a squirrel motif and enjoys pudding
- Tomo Muranaka as Cure Gelato/Aoi Tategami, who has a lion motif and enjoys ice cream
- Saki Fujita as Cure Macaron/Yukari Kotozume, who has a cat motif and enjoys macarons
- Nanako Mori as Cure Chocolat/Akira Kenjō, who has a dog motif and enjoys chocolate
- Mika Kanai as Pekorin, a plump fairy who loves sweets
The opening theme song “SHINE!! Kirakira ☆ Precure a la Mode” will be performed by Yuri Komagata while the ending theme song “Let’s La Cooking ☆ Showtime” will be performed by Kanako Miyamoto.
