One of the more influential series of the 1990’s was Batman: The Animated Series. Coming at a time when animation was slowly starting to be viewed as a bit more than just goofy Saturday morning fare, this series had a primetime premiere to get some attention and it lasted several seasons overall as it worked a way to create some timeless episodes. Playing off of some of the conceptual ideas from the Tim Burton films with the architecture and the like but also going with a fantastic range of characters to engage with, the show has a lot more than ten moments worth checking out but these are definitely among the best
Sadly, the series hasn’t had a Blu-ray release due to the origins of the animation but we’re holding out hope that they’ll get it done somehow someday.
