Though it may be couched in terms such as it’s just ending, but the Love Rush manga from Ryohei Yamamoto has been effectively canceled in Japan with the 50th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump in Japan. The series has its first volume coming out in December and will quickly push out the second volume sometime in January so that it’s done and over with. The series kicked off this summer in the magazine and got both a Jump Start preview here and was picked up to be a part of the weekly lineup after that.
Plot concept: Reiji Hakuba has a genetic condition that makes girls go crazy for him. It’s called the Ubermale Gene, and whoever has it appears like the hottest guy ever to all the girls he meets. This may sound like a dream come true, but too much of something you love can become a nightmare. And things really get complicated when non-human girls start chasing him around. Specifically, a Cupid Princess from the Divine Realm!
