Fans of the light novel series Knights & Magic have some good news today as the release of the first compiled volume of the manga due out this weekend is revealing an anime adaptation is int he works. THe light novels come from Hisago Amazaek-no with illustrations by Kurogin and it began under the Hero Bunko label back in 2013. With six volumes released so far and a manga adaptation from Takuji Katou, well, all signs were pointing to potential anime adaptation for a bit.
No details are available about the production at the moment but more news will be coming sooner rather than later as the marketing machine gets rolling.
Plot concept: A mecha otaku is reincarnated into another world as Ernesti Echevarria, also known as Eru. In this world, huge humanoid weapons known as Silhouette Knights exist. Dreaming of piloting those robots, Eru and his friends, Archid Olter and Adeltrud Olter, aim to become Knight Runners.
