Change was bound to happen sooner or later and with the Toonami block on Cartoon Network, well, change is often done in weird and mysterious ways that don’t make sense to a lot of viewers.
The official Facebook page has revealed that the Toonami block is being bumped back half an hour to midnight beginning on October 1st and will run until 3:30am going forward. This comes as the main Adult Swim block overall, which focuses on shows like Family Guy, The Cleveland Show and Bob’s Burgers, is being bumped back from 8pm to 9pm. There’s not much expectation of ratings damage to come from this, particularly as some shows like Bob’s Burgers outperforms the Toonami shows in the early morning hours anyway.
