‘Interviews with Monster Girls’ Anime Adaptation Announced

Interviews With Monster Girls Volume 1 CoverBack in March we talked a bit about the manga series known as Demi-chan wa Kataritai in Japan as at the time Kodansha Comics USA had acquired the license for it that localizes as Interviews with Monster Girls. Kodansha Comics is looking to bring out this series from Petos this fall with a planned November 1st, 2016 release and that’s going to work very well as an anime adaptation is now scheduled to premiere as part of the winter 2017 season. While no cast has been revealed we did get a staff reveal.

The show will be directed by RYou Andou based on the series composition by Takao Yoshioka. Character designs are being handled by Tetsuya Kawakami with A-1 Pictures handling the animation production.

The property originally began serialization in Young Magazine the 3rd back in September 2014 and has three volumes published so far in Japan and the fourth set for just a few weeks.

Plot concept: Monsters of legend walk among us, going by the name “demi-humans.” Ever since he’s discovered the “demis,” one young man has become obsessed with them. So when he gets a job as a teacher at a high school for demi-girls, it’s a dream come true! But these demis, who include a rambunctious vampire, a bashful headless girl, and a succubus, have all the problems normal teenagers have, on top of their supernatural conditions. How to handle a classroom full of them?!
