With the show focused on musical acts so much it’s little surprise that we get some time in the dance studio. This one takes us to one where Shuzo works to instruct the Trichronica kids a bit on what they need to do in order to succeed – which includes just working harder. Shuzo provides some basic instruction aspects here but mostly it’s just a chance to watch the three of them hit some moves and go at it with what they can do. When it gets to the final minute and works through the box step, you basically have to just chuckle and enjoy it and hope that people pick it up and try it themselves, because dancing is excellent fun.
In Summary:
With a focus on the Trichronica pair and what they’re up to at the moment in the dance studio, it’s a pretty simple piece. There’s not a lot of real character material here or even highlights to really figure out who they are but it works well enough to showcase more of what the acts have to do in order to succeed. I like that they actually treat the box step instruction seriously enough since it is fairly straightforward and the basis of so much, so some kudos there.
