Bananya has been weirdly cute the last couple of times around and this one opens us up to some potential mischief as the Bananya family heads to the bathroom. There’s a lot of playing going on here across all the different items there, especially with Papa Bananya and the electric razor, but mostly I just kept waiting for them to show us how these critters handle their bowel movements. Or is it all just retained in the banana skin itself? The show plays to plenty of cute bits as they get all soapy, get the water running, and a whole lot more, but part of me just kept waiting for things to get really soggy – and then for them all to be electrocuted in some freak accident. So close yet so far.
In Summary:
It’s a fun time in the bathroom at the sink with so many toys and things to play with while also introducing some potentially dangerously deadly sequences as well. You kind of want this to go all grizzly, even just as a dream sequence, because it gets so close to it. There are cute bits with so many of them running around here and so much to explore, but it’s the scene of them all drying themselves off that’s the cutest I think.
