‘Michibiki no Hoshi’ Novel Getting Anime & Live-Action Adaptation

Michibiki no Hoshi HeaderIssui Okawa has taken to Twitter to reveal that his novel series Michibiki no Hoshi is getting a pair of adaptations in the future that fans will want to keep an eye out for. The series, which has four novels so far, is set for a live-action adaptation – presumably a feature film – with plans for a fall 2018 release. An anime adaptation is in the works as well but no details about when that might surface or who is involved was revealed.

Plot concept: Many aliens who travel through the galaxy had a chance to visit Earth. They realized that the Earth is late at civilization, so the aliens have established the Ministry of Supporting Outside Civilization. They have sent officers titled “Outside Civilization Observation Officers” and started secretly supporting the Earth. However, because a young officer named Tsukasa Tsujimoto and three beautiful androids discovered and mistakenly made contact with a creature called “Suwarisu,” it caused the galaxy to be in turbulence later on…
