With a partner in crime with Rumi, the two of them are now all excited about the summer Comima convention and all the prizes that one can get with it. Ryou’s excitement is palpable and he wants to bring Nakamura along with it, though she’s worried about bringing a newbie like that. Not that Ryou is much better as it’s his first time as well so we get to see just how hard it is for him to deal with the people, lines, and the reality of authors. Rumi, on the other hand, is very prepared and she’s very cute in watching how she handles all of this. The really fun part is discovering a book that has characters that look like a few fellow classmates only to learn that Daigo from the class next door is a BL creator himself and works from what he knows…

In Summary:
As much as I like Ryou the addition of Rumi to the show is definitely for the best as she provides a balance to him and a little bit more knowledge. In fact, she makes him seem less extreme in a number of ways and easier to manage. The Comima event here is fun with how both of them handle the difficult situation and some of their discoveries along the way, which includes a minor cast expansion that ought to be fun as the back at school element picks up again next time around. The show isn’t great but I’m enjoying it for what it’s doing and just the number of grins it induces.
