Plenty of cute girls and varied sex makes this a fun title.

Technical:
Quality paper, clean printing, and A5 size continues to be Icarus’ calling card. Sure, their titles are more expensive than A5 releases from other publishers, but considering the quality of their books and the fact they are the only eromanga game in town these days, they deserve your money. ‘Cheerful Eros Project’ isn’t any different from previous releases, keeping in tune with both print quality and sexiness. The front cover pops with yellow and black backgrounds and a mischievous girl ready for a good time.
Most of the girls in these stories are cute and proportional, no gargantuan bOObs. There is also plenty of variety in body type; long and short hair, glasses, short and tall, and everything from B cups to D. However, the art for this title is tough to grade as the stories were drawn over an unknown time span of the artist’s career. The more recent stories in this collection are quite skillfully drawn with attractive girls, plenty of detail, and kinky sex. The older stories still display cute girls and fun sex, but the guys look goofy. None of this is a fatal flaw, just a common observation with these ‘collection’ books.

This book contains ten different stories, each a chapter long. The idol want to be actress in ‘Television Work’ is just plain funny. She never won in spelling bees in school, but she’s cute and her ditzy antics make for good comedic relief. During a rehearsal with another actor, she is easily tricked into sex. Pretty classic porno stuff, but nicely executed.
‘Onii-chan is the Panicky Type’, ‘147 Centimeters’, and ‘HSS – Triangle Boyfriend Girlfriend Sister’ fills the niche for fans of the brother/sister incest sex. ‘147 Centimeters’ has some fun standing 69 action, but ‘HSS – Triangle Boyfriend Girlfriend Sister’ is more my taste with a brother and sister living together. The brother and his girlfriend have plenty of hot sex, but what will happen when she interrupts the siblings getting it on? I would say it will surprise you, but this is eromanga after all.
There are also a few stories about teacher and student sexual relationships, and tutor and student. Both are quite funny, especially when a short-haired coed walks in on her teacher masturbating with her underwear in the girls locker room. These stories aside, I’m a sucker for the tsundere stories. ‘Piledriver’ finds two childhood classmates reunited after years at separate schools. The last time they saw each other, Ono had a crush on Yanase but said something stupid. Yanase wasn’t about to take his crap, so she slammed him in a wicked piledriver and that was the last they saw of each other. Ono never forgot that day, and the sight of Yanase’s panties. Now that they are reunited and a lot older, Ono doesn’t waste much time before begging for another piledriver.
‘She is my Master’ is one of the best stories in this book for my money. Sasaki is not only the class rep, but also admired for her reliability in any situation. Tachibana is the complete opposite, he is a weakling, always picked on, and does anything bullies tell him to. Despite seeming so different, both characters do whatever others want without saying no. Maybe that’s why Sasaki agrees when Tachibana begs her to be his master. She quickly turns into quite the skilled dominatrix.
In Summary
All consensual sex in this book makes for a great eromanga title in my opinion. There is plenty of variety in the sexual antics and the girls cover many of the popular body types most of us fantasize about. Many of the stories have a school aspect to them (classmates, teachers, tutors), but the stories about siblings, the television actors, and the girl that pays her rent with sex, provide a nice change of pace.
Easily my favorite story is ‘She is my Master’, both in the sexy girl and the storyline. In the afterword by the author, he mentions that this is a chapter from a book focused on those characters that he has begun working on. I don’t know if it was ever collected and published as a single book, but I would love to see Icarus pick it up if it is out
