Kitty Media announced back in early February that they’ve picked up the three episode hentai OVA series Kanojo x Kanojo x Kanojo. With it being a show they’re moving on pretty quickly, they’ve now formalized the cover artwork for both formats that are being produced and confirmed the release dates. It’s little surprise that the cover artwork for each is working off of the Japanese cover as it’s pretty much ideal. The DVD release is due out on 7/26/16 while the Blu-ray release is due out on 8/30/16. The property was released between 2009 and 2011 from Milky animation Label and MS Pictures, though as noted in the announcement, the production ran out of money along the way so the third episode wasn’t produced in high definition like the first two were. The show did get a complete Blu-ray release in Japan where the third episode was an upscale because of it.
The series was a passion project for Kousuke Murayama who served as the director, storyboard, character designer and animation director for the OVAs as well as working on the key animation and doing individual episode direction. The show stars Yuki Maeda, Hatsumi Takada and Emi Motoi.
Plot concept: Haruomi lives peacefully on a small island. But one day, a volcano erupts, so he gets out of the island and temporarily stays at his relative’s house. He meets Natsumi, Akina, and Mafuyu there. They are sisters and all pretty. His peaceful life suddenly turns into an exciting erotic life….
