2 min read

Masou Gakuen VisualThe summer 2016 anime adaptation of the light novel series Masou Gakuen HxH, which has its English language title of Hybrid x Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia, is moving closer and closer to its debut. After giving us an uncensored promo recently, the show has now cut a new 15-second TV spot that has revealed a July 5th, 2016 premiere on AT-X before moving on to other regional broadcasters.

The first promotional video for it, which you can see further below, also gives us a listen to the opening theme song miele paradisio from Iori Nomizu. The series is being directed by Hiroyuki Furukawa based on the scripts coming from Yasutomo Yamada. Kana Miyai is serving as the character designer for the series and it’s being produced at Production IMS.

The casst includes Ayaka Kimura, Hikaru Isshiki, Ichigo Momoi, Rino Kawashima, Kenji Akabane as Kizuna Hida, Akari Kageyama as Aine Chidorigafuchi, Juri Nagatsuma as Hayuru Himekawa, Chinatsu Akasaki as Julicia Farandole, Rika Kinugawa as Reiri Hida and Hina Kino as Silvia Silkcut.

The original novel series by Masamune Kuji began back in February 2014 and has quickly done well with seven volumes out, a manga adaptation that’s underway and a drama CD.

Plot concept: Hida Kizuna possesses the HHG (Heart Hybrid Gear) ability, but it is not strong enough to make him particularly important. His older sister calls him to transfer to a strategic defense school, where many of the students (many of which are large-breasted girls) use their HHG abilities to fight invaders from another world while wearing extremely skimpy pilot outfits. Kizuna’s fighting ability doesn’t measure up, but his sister has another plan; getting the girls to have erotic experiences with Kizuna, so that it will allow them to replenish their energy or power-up. It looks like his new school life is going to be full of embarrassment!
