2 min read

Orange Anime HeaderThings are moving right along for one of the more anticipated anime adaptations that’s been in the works for a summer 2016 debut with Orange. We’ve had separate voice cast listings before for the men and the women and a promotion video arrived as well that showcases the appealing artwork and designs. Now, the official site has updated with a new cast visual below that highlights the location side of things more as well as some concept artwork you can see here.

The previously announced cast includes:

Kana Hanazawa as Naho Takamiya
Natsumi Takamori as Azusa Murasaka
Rika Kinugawa as Takako Chino
Seiichirou Yamashita as Kakeru Naruse
Makoto Furukawa as Hiroto Suwa
Kazuyuki Okitsu as Saku Hagita

The series is directed by Hiroshi Hamasaki based on the screenplay from Yuuko Kakihara. Nobuteru Yuuki is on board to handle the character designs and it’s being animated by TMS Entertainment and Telecom Animation Film.

The manga is being released in North America by Seven Seas Entertainment.

Plot concept: One day, Takamiya Naho receives a letter written to herself from ten years in the future. As Naho reads on, the letter recites the exact events of the day, including the transfer of a new student into her class named Naruse Kakeru.

The Naho from ten years later repeatedly states that she has many regrets, and she wants to fix these by making sure the Naho from the past can make the right decisions—especially regarding Kakeru. What’s more shocking is that she discovers that ten years later, Kakeru will no longer be with them. Future Naho asks her to watch over him closely.
