‘Working!! Web-ban’ Manga Getting Anime Adaptation

Working!! Web-banYou just can’t keep a good property down. After finishing off the third season and special this past fall, a new anime series is coming from the Working!! franchise as the four-panel manga series Working!! Web-ban is getting an anime adaptation. Going under the name WWW.Working!!, it was a bunch of fun material that creator Karino Takatsu put on their personal site that eventually ended up compiled into three volumes. The anime adaptation will have season three director Yumi Kamakura returning with A-1 Pictures animation. The cast includes:

  • Yuuichi Nakamura as Daisuke Higashida
  • Haruka Tomatsu as Hana Miyakoshi
  • Sora Amamiya as Shiho Kamakura
  • Kensho Ono as Yuuta Shindou
  • Yoko Hikasa as Sayuri Muranushi
  • Kouki Uchiyama as Masahiro Adachi
  • Risa Taneda as Kisaki Kondou

Plot concept: Daisuke Higashida is a serious first-year student at Higashizaka High School. He lives a peaceful everyday life even though he was not satisfied with the family who doesn’t laugh at all and makes him tired. However, his father’s company one days goes bankrupt, and he can no longer afford allowances, cellphone bills, and commuter tickets. When his father orders him to take up a part-time job, Daisuke decides to work at a nearby family restaurant in order to avoid traveling 15 kilometers to school by bicycle.
