Funimation UK Planning ‘Devil May Cry’ Anime Streaming

1 min read

Devil May CryAdd another show to the list of what will arrive on the Funimation UK streaming service when it hits as they’ve made the nod on Twitter about Devil May Cry. The series, which is available in full on the North American Funimation streaming service, was sub-licensed to Manga UK for home video release and it’s still in print there. The series was originally picked up by ADV Films as part of their deal with Sojitz years ago that ended up in Funimation’s hands as all that went down.

Check out our review of the series here.

Originally airing in 2007, the Madhouse series was directed by Shin Itagaki based on the composition from Toshiki Inoue. Hisashi Abe served as the chief animation director and character designer and it was animated at Madhouse.

Plot concept: Cursed to live as both monster and man, Dante must spend his life fighting the demonic forces of darkness. Brandishing his sword, Rebellion, and his always-loaded guns, Ebony and Ivory, Dante is more than happy to send the demons back to hell – especially when there’s money to be made.
