Tsukasa Fushimi and Hiro Kanzaki’s manga series Eromanga Sensei – My Little Sister and the Locked Room got the nod last week that an anime adaptation is in the works for the property that began back in December 2013. With six volumes of material we’re pretty much on track for a standard single cour series and now the first detail has arrived regarding the adaptation.

The official feed for this has revealed the first cast announcement with Akane Fujita on board to play the main role of Sagiri Izumi, a role that she did with the visual drama that came out previously. Fujita hasn’t had a lot of roles overall since she began her career, but this marks her second leading role after playing Yuzuka Hanami in this season’s series Mahō Shōjo Nante Mō Ii Desu Kara.

A-1 Pictures will be producing the animation for this Aniplex production.

Plot concept: The story revolves around Masamune Izumi, a light novel author in high school. Masamune’s little sister is Sagiri, a shut-in girl who hasn’t left her room for an entire year. She even forces her brother to make and bring her meals when she stomps the floor. Masamune wants his sister to leave her room, because the two of them are each other’s only family.

Masamune’s novel illustrator, penname “Ero Manga Sensei,” draws extremely perverted drawings, and is very reliable. Masamune had never met his illustrator, and figured he was just a disgusting, perverted otaku. However, the truth is revealed … that his “Ero Manga Sensei” is his own younger sister! To add to the chaos that erupts between the siblings, a beautiful, female, best-selling shōjo manga creator becomes their rival!
