The spring 2016 anime season is getting closer and the reveals are still hitting. The latest is for the anime adaptation of the manga Pan de Peace!, which is scheduled for an April debut. A scan over the weekend has revealed the main staff and cast for the series that definitely sets it up well. The show is being directed by Hatsuki Tsuji based on the series composition from Momoko Murakami and character designs by Shizue Kaneko. It’s being animated at Asahi Production.
The cast includes Ibuki Kido as Minami, Eri Yamazaki as Yuu, Moe Toyota as Fuyumi and Nichika Omori as Noa.
The series comes from creator emily via the Comic Cune magazine where it’s been running in addition to the ComicWalker service. The series had its first compiled volume released last August.
emily has a few works to their name including the Love Colon hentai manga that previously got an OVA adaptation.
Plot concept: Today, Minami becomes a high school student. She begins her day by eating her favorite bread and enjoys a happy daily life together with her “bread buddies.”
