The anime adaptation of the Manaria Magic Academy property with Manaria Friends: Shingeki no Bahamut is still scheduled for a spring 2016 debut and now the official site has gone and added some of the supporting cast ahead of it. The new additions include:
Nana Mizuki as Hanna
Wataru Hatano as Owen
Kimiko Koyama as Ruu
Kikuko Inoue as Miranda
Yuuma Uchida as William
Chiharu Sawashiro as Heinlein
We previously knew that Yoko Hikasa had signed on to play Anne while Ayaka Fukuhara had signed on to play Grea with Nana Mizuki as Hanna, rounding out the voice actresses that participated in the game as well.
The series will be directed by Takafumi Hoshikawa and he’s also handling the overall series composition. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu and Shigure Murakoshi are on board with scripts while Keiji Ishikawa is handling both character design and serving as the chief animation director.
The series is scheduled for an April 1st, 2016 debut as part of the Ultra Super Anime Time block.
Cygames added an anime department within the business earlier this year and if they’re seeing good returns on the first season of the first series, we can expect to see more in the future.
