Sherrilyn Kenyon’s ‘Dark-Hunter’ Getting Comics, Graphic Novel & Manga

2 min read

Dark-HunterSherrilyn Kenyon has had some of her works adapted before to be sure, including The Dark-Hunters: Infinity through Yen Press, and now the Dabel Brothers are getting involved in a big way to bring the original Dark-Hunter property into the illustrated medium. The publishing outfit is looking to bring out this property with both comics and graphic novels as well as manga adaptations as that’s gone over well before. The first that we’ll see is the comic adaptation of Acheron in August with plans for a collection late in 2016. 2017 will see the debut of the manga series.

“It’s an absolute thrill and privilege to be working with the Dabel Brothers again,” original creator Sherrilyn Kenyon said. “There’s no one I trust more to share the graphic depictions of my worlds.”

Original concept: He is solitude. He is darkness. He is the ruler of the night. Yet Kyrian of Thrace has just woken up handcuffed to his worst nightmare: An accountant. Worse, she’s being hunted by one of the most lethal vampires out there. And if Amanda Devereaux goes down, then he does too. But it’s not just their lives that are hanging in the balance. Kyrian and Amanda are all that stands between humanity and oblivion. Let’s hope they win.
