First ‘Seisen Cerberus’ Anime Promo Arrives

Seisen Cerberus VisualWe learned last week that the Spring 2016 season was going to get an anime adaptation of the mobile game Seisen Cerberus and we learned a fair bit about it. Not long after that, TV Tokyo put up an unlisted promo for the series on their YouTube channel that’s gotten a bit more notice. It clocks in at 3 1/2 minutes and provides a good look at the project and what they’re doing with it. The show is set to debut in April on TV Tokyo as Seisen Cerberus: Ryuukok no Fatalites. The show will be directed by Nobuhiro Kondou with Mana Uchiyama assisting based on series composition from Hiroshi Oonogi. Gou Tougetsu is handling the character designs while Isamu Fukushima and Yoshinori Deno are serving as the chief animation directors. it’s being animated at studio Bridge.

The cast includes:

Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Hiiro
M・A・O as Sarato
Maaya Uchida as Erin
Taiten Kusunoki as Giru
Arisa Ogasawara as Tomitte
Shunsuke Sakuya as Nanbuko
Mariya Ise as Sharisharu
Manami Numakura as Mumu

The opening theme is called Resonant Heart and is performed by Maaya Uchida while the ending theme is Xenotopia from Suzuko Mimori.

Plot concept: It is set on the continent of Qun’ahn, which dominated by sword and magic users and whose land is divided among the kingdoms of Saint Amoria, Ishilfen, and Varondis. The anime follows 16-year-old Hiiro, who takes up a sword in order to avenge his parents’ death by killing the evil dragon Danguard.
