A new anime TV series is on its way according to the new issue of Gengeki G’s magazine as the upcoming light novel series Girlish Number from Wataru Watari and QP:flapper is getting the nod. With a companion manga series about to start, the writing was definitely on the wall for this one. Details of the project are set to be announced at the DEngeki Bunko Spring Festival on March 13th where the cast will be revealed for it.
Watari’s other work My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU has gotten an anime adaptation and Qualidea Code is also on the way.
Plot concept: The series follows Chitose Karasuma, a university student who aims to become a voice actress (seiyuu). The stage event listing further indicates that it focuses on the profession of idol seiyuu.
