What They Say:
“A Tale of Two Families Part Two”

With the Big Bad Aechaeus in residence—somewhere in London—vampire strikes have increased in Magic Town as he and Drusilla grow their family. Determined to bring Angel into the fold, along with the strange magical entity of Magic Town, Archaeus and Dru have kept Nadira captive for her connection to both those targets. But that isn’t the only angle this pair has been working. Angel, Faith, and Fred have a battle ahead…

Content: (please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers):
I think the shock of Angel back under the control of Archaeus blinded me to the obvious truth: Of course he’s faking it. And Archaeus is just cocky enough that he’d believe that he’s the stronger one of the two and Drusilla’s “family bonds” with Angel would be enough to bring him back under their control.

Well laid plan, Angel. It seems to have worked to a T. Nadira is back in safe hands and no one was hurt too bad. Though it was interesting to see Drusilla fight at all, she’s always been one to sit behind while everyone else did the work, of course Faith is better. And Drusilla is just cocky enough to think that she could actually beat Faith, the slayer.

The enemy is grossly underestimating Angel and company, or overestimating their own abilities. They’ve been killing humans for a good long time, or at least Archaeus and Drusilla have, but their army of younglings have basically just been created compared to the experience of Angel, Faith, Fred, Koh, Lavinia, and Siphronia. When this fight comes to a head, it’s coming down to Angel and Archaeus.

In Summary:
That went a little too well, but if they had to do something similar again, Archaeus might not be so cocky. The real question is what do they do now that they have Nadria back—an extremely broken Nadira that can’t trust the magic that gave her the status she has. No one’s safe on team Angel.
