1 min read

Flying Witch HeaderNew details regarding the anime adaptation of the manga series Flying Witch from Chihiro Ishizuka surfaced earlier this week and now a refresh of the official site and a little bit on the Twitter feed has given us some new visual material to work with – including a clean and solidly sized version of the new main visual. According to an early look at the upcoming Monthly Newtype magazine, the project is being slotted as a TV series that will debut in April with JC Staff producing it. Katsushi Sakurabi has been set to direct it while Deko Akao is handling the scripts. Character designs are being done by Masato Yasuno

The manga began back in 2012 in Bessatus Shonen Magazine and has released three volumes so far with a fourth to ship next April in Japan.

Plot concept: The series follows the 15-year-old witch Makoto Kowata and the other boys and girls in her daily life. With her black cat Chito, the somewhat aimless girl moved from Yokohama to live with her second cousin at Aomori in verdant northern Japan.
