Dark Horse Acquires ‘Blood-C: Demonic Moonlight’ Manga

Blood-C Demonic Moonlight Volume 1 CoverDark Horse Comics has announced their acquisition of the Blood-C: Demonic Moonlight manga as part of their increased market push in 2016. The series works as a prequel to the Blood-C manga that came out previoiusly and is illustrated by Ryo Haduki based on the work by CLAMP and Production IG. The series is standard sized with 188 pages and will be priced at $12.99. The first volume is scheduled for May 11th, 2016 while the second volume is scheduled for August 23rd, 2016.

Plot concept: The story is set in occupied Japan in 1946, where an American military investigator is sent to investigate a number of strange deaths near Yokohama base. Very soon he figures out the crimes are far from normal, and the murderer is hardly the mundane killer he expects.
