One of the more enjoyable shows hitting this season that’s not getting anywhere near enough attention is that of HackaDoll. Part of the Ultra Super Anime Time block that Crunchyroll is simulcasting, we missed this over the weekend where Avex Pictures began streaming the TV sized live-action music videos for the opening and closing sequences. The show is so much fun that it needs a little extra awareness. Both songs are performed by the three lead actresses in the show with Miyu Takagi (Hacka Doll #1), Kaya Okuno (#2) and Nanami Yamashita (#3). The opening song is Touch Tap Baby while the closing song is Happy Days Refrain. Check ’em out below!
The series will star Nanami Yamashita, Kaya Okuno, Miyu Takagi and Reimi Yukarino. The show is set to be directed by Ikuo Geso and comes from Creators in Pack and Studio Trigger.
Plot concept: The anime personifies the app’s customization engine as three “HackaDolls”, all of whom are voiced by members of the voice-actress unit Wake Up, Girls! — the personal entertainment AI and main navigator HackaDoll #1 (played by Miyu Takagi), the anime expert HackaDoll #2 (Kaya Okuno), and the knowledgeable otaku HackaDoll #3 (Nanami Yamashita).
