The show is based on the spin-off gag manga property of the main behemoth of an anime and manga series. The series has an October 3rd, 2015 debut in Japan and FUNimation will be revealing their exact plans soon for the show.

Attack on Titan: Junior High will be directed by Yoshihide Ibata based on the composition by Midori Gotou and character designs by Yuuko Yahiro. Production IG will be handling the animation and the main voice cast from the anime series proper will be voicing here as well. Check out the promo spot below and get ready to get chibi!

Plot concept: The school comedy story is set in a junior high school and centers on the original manga’s characters such as Eren and Mikasa as they battle with Titans. The spinoff incorporates gags while using Attack on Titan’s story and notable scenes as its basis.
