Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata had the first glimpse of their new series Platinum End arrive last week with a grainy visual and now the pair have put together something much more enticing ahead of the eight page preview that comes out next week. The pair have crafted some popular tales in the last decade with both Death Note and Bakuman reaching some pretty solid audiences in different areas. The new series is set to debut in the November 4th installment of Jump SQ. Details are of course light but they’ve gotten a bit of attention with the two-chapter Bakuman prequel that they did to celebrate the feature film.
Details of the new series are naturally painfully slim as beyond the tagline below and the visual to the right, there’s no real heavy promotion of it.
Plot concept: This is a story of a human and an angel.
