The August announcement of the Anitore! EX series for a fall premiere has had a lot of little information come out quickly and the latest piece to arrive is the cast list for the show through the official site. The series recently revealed an October 12th, 2015 debut for the show. It’ll make its start on the Tokyo MX and SunTV networks, which ties in well with it being Health and Sports Day. The cast now includes:
- Miku Itō as Asami Hoshi
- Azumi Waki as Eri Higuchi
- Miyu Komaki as Shizuno Saotome
- Maria Naganawa as Shion Tachibana
- Kanon Takao as Yū Hiraoka
The show is centered around exercise with various girls that want to be idols doing the workout with the viewers. This is similar in a sense to the Makura no Danshi series with a semi-interactive element to it. The show is being directed by Atsushi Nigorikawa based on the series composition from Daisuki Ishibashi and character designs by Shuuhei Yamamoto. Animation is being produced by Rising Force.
Plot concept: “Move your soul and body!” Each episode contains a variety of routines, such as push-ups, sit-ups, spine twists, dance, yoga, stretches, trunk training, and taichi. Five girls aiming to become idols will exercise with you, and that troubling body fat percentage will go down by 1000%…!?
