2 min read

Bokura ga ItaViewster has picked up another under the radar series for streaming that also marks its first time streaming with Bokura ga Ita, also known as We Were There through the manga licensed and released by Viz Media. Viewster has added the twenty-six episode run that ran during the summer and fall of 2006 in Japan. It was directed by Akitarou Daichi, which should raise interest for a number of folks that like his works. Mamiko Ikeda handled the series composition and production was handled by Artland and Marvelous Entertainment. Pony Canyon distributed it in Japan.

Check out some of our manga coverage of the series here.

Plot concept: A high school romance from studio Artland … in the form of a bittersweet love triangle. For first year student Takahashi Nanami, the start of high school life is also the beginning of her love life. But when she gets pranked by Motoharu Yano, who happens to be the hottest guy in school, love is the last thing on her mind. Naturally, Motoharu ends up in her class, and they soon find themselves falling in love. But their relationship is complicated by Yano’s past; specifically the death of his ex-girlfriend. Plus, her younger sister, Yuri, is in the same class. Drama, drama, drama!

  1. I wish there were more anime buy Artland. And this being a romance, I think I will enjoy this series a lot.

Although, I think anime are becoming more self aware: “Naturally, Motoharu ends up in her class, and they soon find themselves falling in love.” Typical anime romance I guess.
