‘Manaria Friends: Shingeki no Bahamut’ Anime Announced

1 min read

Manaria Friends VisualMobile game developer Cygames has announced that their property Manaria Magic Academy will be getting an anime adaptation next year with Manaria Friends: Shingeki no Bahamut. The confusion can already be seen easily as this is something within the overall Rage of Bahamut social media game, which had its first season previously and a second season is also scheduled. Details of this new series are minimal at best at the moment but the developer has put together a teaser announcement movie with some gorgeous illustration visuals that has you hoping the anime adaptation itself will be half as good at the least.

While no production team has been announced, we have the official site going live with the visual you can see to the right, the promo below and the first bit of casting. Yoko Hikasa has signed on to play Anne while Ayaka Fukuhara has signed on to play Grea.

Cygames added an anime department within the business earlier this year and if they’re seeing good returns on the first season of the first series, we can expect to see more in the future.
