While the home video releases for Kamisama Kiss in Japan are pretty much painful to see so low, though typical of far too much shoujo material, the anime continues on. While there have been several OADs bundled with the manga as of late it looks like two more are going to land in 2016. This makes it a great time to be a fan of the series there and leaves fans here hopeful for a pickup by FUNimation. The latest news comes from the newest Hana to Yume magazine where the 24th and 25th volumes of the series from Julietta Suzuki will have episodes bundled on April 20th, 2016 and August 19th, 2016 respectively. The episodes are titled with The God Becomes a Bride and I’ll Meet Up With the God. No details about it beyond that are included.
The news comes as the 20th volume out this week in Japan brings a new installment while the second episode will be done with the 23rd volume of the series that’s scheduled for a December 18th, 2015 release date. The episodes are currently titled with God, Leaps into the Past and Fox, Falls in Love. The project will be using the same team as the TV series that ran this past winter with Akitaro Daichi directing at TMS Entertainment once more while Junko Yamanaka is on board again as the character designer as well as chief animation director.

Plot concept: Nanami was just a normal high school girl down on her luck until a stranger’s lips marked her as the new Land God and turned her world upside down. Now, she’s figuring out the duties of a deity with the help of Tomoe, a reformed fox demon who reluctantly becomes her familiar in a contract sealed with a kiss. The new responsibilities—and boys—are a lot to handle, like the crow demon masquerading as a gorgeous pop idol and the adorable snake spirit who’s chosen the newly minted god to be his bride. As the headstrong Tomoe tries to whip her into shape, Nanami finds that love just might have cute, pointed fox ears. With romance in the air, will the human deity be able to prove herself worthy of her new title?
