With the “background” focus of the Itorio group from the start, everything has now come together for them in their quest to gain fame and perform for their fans. We’ve seen the nervousness of the moment and the anticipation and all of that culminates here in their Tokyo concert. With their excited fans there, they get to perform on stage in a good way – sadly without subtitles for the viewer to understand what they’re singing. And since this takes up the bulk of the episode, it means we mostly just get to watch them dance around. And to watch the audience members cheer along, which does get subtitled. There’s some fun energy to the room and seeing the way the group soaks up the moment is pretty good.

In Summary:
This episode is essentially what we get in a lot of music based shows where the main characters get to do their performance. What we don’t get are the fifteen or so minutes around it that makes it compelling or engaging to watch since we don’t really get to know the characters all that well. What we do get is that this performance has given them the incentive to go as big and bold as they can, looking for a major label debut. That provides us a nod towards the surprise that both Suko and Ryu have, among others, and that puts the task out there plainly for Itorio – and the challenges as well.
