Media Blasters has a pretty good presence at Otakon this year, again showing their renewal overall as a company, and one of the big things they presented this weekend in addition to a lot of interaction at their booth is a look at Ladies versus Butlers. The series is one that they’ve had for awhile but are now working through the dub production on. They revealed the first bit of casting earlier this week with the character of Akiharu Hino, which is going to be played by Daniel. J Edwards. Now the production has revealed through the character cards below that Amber Lee Connors has joined as Tomomi Saikyou and Brittany Lauda as Kaoru Daichi.
And to give fans a taste of how it’s turning out, they put together a three minute preview of it – which also provides a good taste of how the show itself is.
Plot concept: Hino Akiharu lost his parents when he was small and was adopted into his uncle’s family. He didn’t want to be a burden on his uncle’s family and decides to enter a free boarding school as a butler, Hakureiryou high school. However, his delinquent boy-like appearance frightens the girls, who make up the majority of the students. Unable to get along with the classmates, Akiharu meets his childhood crush Saikyou Tomomi.
